Dimethyl Fumarate, which can cause allergies when it has skin contact, is to be banned in Europe for all kinds of consumer goods starting from 1st May, 2009.
Buyers do have the obligation to remove products from the market from 1st May 2009 if the product contains more than 0.1 mg/kg Dimethyl Fumarate.
Recent report shows that Dimethyl Fumarate is also applied in leather products which include leather bags, leather furniture. Buyers are advised to apply test on their consumer products in order to comply with this regulation.
