The government of Guangzhou has raised the minimum wage of enterprise workers by RMB80. Starting from April, minimum wage of enterprise workers in Guangzhou (except Huada and Panyu districts and the cities of Songhua and Zhengcheng) is RMB860/ month, representing a rise of RMB80. Minimum wage in Huada, Pangyu, Songhua and Zhengcheng is RMB770/ month, also an increase of RMB80. After the adjustment, the minimum hourly wage in Gunagzhou (except Huada, Pangyu, Songhua and Zhengcheng) is RMB4.94, and RMB8.30 for part-time workers. In Huada, Pangyu, Songhua and Zhengcheng, the minimum hourly rate is RMB4.43 and RMB7.40 for part-time workers.
