Recall of Toys Airplanes, Cars and Motorcycles Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the S.U Wholesale Inc. of Vernon together announced a voluntary recall of about 5,000 units of toys airplanes, cars and motorcycles manufactured in China. These toys were covered by paints with level of lead exceeding the federal standard, which could be hazardous to children. Customers were highly encouraged to take these toys away from children and return them to the store where the purchase was made for a refund.
