The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Downeast Concepts together announced a voluntary recall of about 400 of Toy Gardening Hand Rakes manufactured in China. The products violated the federal standard on lead in paint on toys, with excessive level of lead on the paint of the gardening tool hand rake. Consumers were strongly advised to keep the products away from children and return them to the store where the purchase was made for replacement.
